TPD Summer Programme 2025
A 3-day programme for dancers looking to enhance their dance practice, connect with other dance artists, and immerse themselves in the city of Oxford.
TPD Summer Programme will have two programmes running parallel;
-The Youth Stream: for dancers aged 12-18 with at least 1 year of dance experience in any style.
-The Professional Stream: for dancers aged 18+ with at least 2 years of training or professional experience in any style.

BLUE MAKWANA
Choreo Lab
BLUE MAKWANA is a London based dancer, choreographer and teacher. She is currently a Sadler’s Wells Young Associate (2023-2025). Her commissions include ‘TOASTED’ (2024) which premiered on the Sadler’s Wells’ main stage, ‘MY GLIMMER BOO’ (2023) which premiered in the Lilian Baylis Studio theatre and ‘BLUE’, a digital work directed by Camilla Greenwell.
Blue’s performance credits include, ‘WICKED’ the movie, Matthew Bourne’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ with New Adventures (UK + International tour), ‘Mandela’ the musical, Ed Sheeran & Paulo Londra, ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance’, DFS, HOLLAND X GUCCI, Burberry and ‘He’s Dead’ by Malik Nashad Sharpe.
Within her choreographic and teaching practices, Blue is aiming to create and deliver work which honours technical dance training and displays versatility and fusion.

DAN BAINES
Floorwork
Dan is a freelance dance artist who grew up in the Wiltshire countryside, attended Swindon Dance’s Centre for Advanced Training and was a member of National Youth Dance Company. He graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance with a First-Class Honours degree in 2020.
He has worked with many choreographers, directors and creatives including Tim Burton, Dua Lipa, Damien Jalet, Christopher Bruce, Akram Khan, Matthew Bourne, Maxine Doyle, Corey Baker, Arlene Phillips and James Cousins. Over the past year Dan has worked on a number of dance and performance projects across the world.

KIO TOMIYAMA
Pilates|Conditioning
Over the last 23 years, I have been passionate to support dancer’s physical and emotional well-being. As a former ballet and contemporary dancer, I understand what physical and emotional abilities are required to thrive in the dance industry. I am a certified Pilates instructor (both mat and equipment), Diploma in Nutrition study and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) therapist and coach.

HANNAH THOMAS
Floorwork
Hannah Thomas (she/her) is a movement artist, performer and teacher, from the UK.
Hannah is currently working with Joshua Monten Dance Company, based in Switzerland. In previous years, Hannah has performed with Wee Dance Company (Germany) and WomanEwer (UK).
Hannah has also performed in the works of James Finnemore, Dan Thatcher, Alison Curtis-Jones and Thomas Page. She has led company classes for a number of companies, including St. Gallen Dance Company, Ballet du Grand Theatre de Geneve and Sydney Dance Company.
Hannah graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (UK) in 2020 with a 1st Class degree in Contemporary Dance.

TAYLOR HAN
Improvisation
Taylor Han is dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher based in Scotland. Her passion lies in dance for community, and through her work with Scottish Ballet and
YDance brings dance to people as young as 3 and as old as 103 from all backgrounds.
As a performer and maker she is inspired by improvisation, musicality, and connection. Taylor has most recently choreographed on Scottish Ballet's Youth Exchange, toured her own work ‘With Catastrophic Consequences ‘across Scotland, and has worked with choreographers most recently including Daniel Davidson, Thomas Small and Abby Warrilow.
Taylor trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has a Masters in Performance from London Contemporary Dance School. Taylor has worked with Thomas Page Dances since 2015 and is delighted to be delivering on the summer program.

Choreo Lab
Artistic Director of Thomas Page Dances and TPD Young Artists, Thomas is a choreographer, teacher, and researcher based in Oxford working globally.
When working with young dancers, their choreography focuses on bringing out naividuality and artistic expression withir a collective exploration or a choser theme that resonates most with the group they are working with.
Previous youth choreographic commissions include SYDCo, Centre of Advanced Training (Swindon, Exeter, anc Jance City), and Central Coast Grammal School (Australia).
Teaching credits include: Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance Sydney Dance Company, Rambert Dance, London Contemporary Dance School, Northern School of contemporary Dance, London Vocational Ballet School, Centre for Advanced Training programmes, and Swindon Dance.
